Job Description:
Web Engineering Platform Engineer role will be responsible for IT experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex infrastructures for Public and Hybrid-Cloud-driven digital transformations.
Responsibilities:
• Extensive hands-on experience in the administration and supporting the Kubernetes platforms like (Red Hat Openshift, ARO, AKS, EKS, etc).
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat/Istio Service Mesh.
• Extensive hands-on experience with containerization of various stacks of applications on heterogeneous platforms using Docker and Podman.
• Prior automation experience in writing Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Proficient in multiple DevSecOps (Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps Artifactory, etc.) tools, and techniques and hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure services
• Strong knowledge of Application servers (JBoss, JWS) and Web servers (Apache, Nginx) and prior work experience in configuration and performance tuning of the Java and .NET applications is required.
• Prior work experience of Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and Kiali is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, frequently collaborating with multiple teams for solutions support debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Certification in CKA and Azure Administration is preferred.
Tools & Technical Knowledge:
• Should have good knowledge in Kubernetes platforms like (Red Hat, Openshift, ARO, AKS, EKS, etc
• Red Hat/Istio Service Mesh
• Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps Artifactory
• Azure services
• Application servers (JBoss, JWS)
• Web servers (Apache, Nginx)
• Good experience in Docker and Podman
• Good knowledge and experience in Terraform, Ansible, and Python
Additional Requirements:
• Associate should be able to support and work during US Business Hours.
• Associate must follow US Business Holiday schedule.
